This Brass Shiva and Parvati statue is made of superfine brass by the artisans of Vedansh Craft. In this statue, Lord Shiva is seated with his wife, Parvati on the vehicle of Shiva, Nandi. Shiva holds an axe in one of His hands. His front hand is held up in Abhaya mudra which is a symbol for protection, and Parvati holds a lotus flower in one of Her hands. When the husband and wife are together in sculpture Shiva is generally larger.
